2011 Cypress Vineyards Merlot

The 2011 Cypress Vineyards Merlot is garnet red in color with medium density. Fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry are complemented by a bouquet of toasted oak and dark chocolate. The inclusion of Syrah and Malbec in the blend lifts the fruit signature with a bit of hibiscus character. The round texture and comfortable weight of this wine is followed by a sweet, mature fi nish. 2011 Cypress Vineyards Merlot pairs wonderfully with beef fi lets in red wine sauce or barbecued ribs. This wine can be enjoyed in its youth or cellared up to five years.
